WHY NET MINISTRIES?

I went to Franciscan University for a year and had the greatest time ever- great people, deepening my faith, learning. During my Sophomore year for Easter Break 2021, I decided to go to Harpers Ferry, WV. I traveled alone to really meditate on the Triduum. I car camped in a Church parking lot and met so many people whom I got to understand a glimpse of their life in intentional conversation talking about God, hopes, and faith. It was a beautiful experience and I wanted to do more of that. I realized that at college, everything I was doing was for myself. I wanted to do something great for other people. I went back to campus after my life-changing solo trip on a mission to find something to fulfill my desire to serve. I have a couple of friends who served on NET Ministries in Ireland and in previous conversations, told me all about their trip and how much they loved it, although it was the hardest year of their life. I asked a couple of the NET alumni questions about serving and I decided that no matter how difficult, I wanted to do it. So I applied. And now here we are :)

MEET THE TEAM

Delvin Team

We will be located in Delvin, Ireland, only an hour train ride from Dublin. There we will partner with a former NET alumni who started up a youth group. We will lead retreats, set up Bible Studies, Discipleship, and attend to any needs the Church needs from us. During our nights off, we will continue our ministry through pub and street evangelization. Pray for us that our encounters might be fruitful!

CLAIRE RADY

Team Lead

I'm all the way from Houston, Texas! I am currently a student at Franciscan University, but I am feeling the call to serve, and to do it now! Something to know about me would be my overall zeal for life. I love to live in the moment and I am constantly seeking out adventure or adrenaline. I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me all the way in Ireland.

I'm from PEI, Canada! My favourite hobbies include, cooking, playing/listening to music, video games, working out as well as playing any sport you throw at me! The things I'm looking forward to the most for this year are growing in fellowship with my team members, sharing my testimony with the youth and deepening my faith in the lord! May this be a very fruitful year.

I am from Manassas, Virginia! I love to hike, snowboard, hammock and go on adventures in nature. I have been so blessed to be able to attend Franciscan University this past year but am so excited to see where this journey unfolds and all the beautiful people I am able to encounter in my new chapter with NET.

Hey y’all! My name is Sterling, 24, from Louisiana. I’m so excited to start serving the Delvin community as a NET missionary. My passions are music, science, nature, and praising the Lord! I can’t wait to see the beautiful Irish scenery. If you see any rainbows, you may find me staring at them in wonder.

I’m from South Florida. If you know me, you know these three things about me 1) when you really get me laughing, I usually start to snort 2) I drink a lot of coffee and read a lot of books, usually together 3) I am super pumped to serve in Ireland next year! I think I’m most excited to get to know the people, and form friendships with the youth. Can’t wait to meet you!!

SUPPORT TEAM

I greatly appreciate the support of my team through both financial and spiritual help. I was easily able to raise my goal of €7,000. In Ireland, I will pray for my Support Team every day and their intentions. I do not need any more financial help, but I could always use prayers, so please let me know if you would be willing to join my Support Team through prayers. Together, as a team, we are serving the youth of Ireland. You have served by giving to me financially and spiritually so that I may serve physically. We are on a mission together and you are equally as important in this journey!
