Raid the Heavens

Let me preface this...Y'ALL. I AM DYING TO GET TO IRELAND. It has been difficult for me to give up a year of my life and see no results yet. There are eight other missionaries who are in the same position and we have frequent calls expressing our struggles. I mean, I am staying pretty positive and am busying myself with dancing, Anne of Green Gables, and phone calls, but I have been itching to get there.

Last night, as I laying down for bed, I was wishing that there was something I could do to speed up the application process for my visa to go to Ireland. Then it hit me. Silly Claire, there is something I can do. If I will be traveling overseas to preach the Gospel, why am I overlooking something so obvious about my faith -- prayer! There is so much power in prayer. Now, obviously I have been praying and begging God to speed up this process, but I haven't made it a devotion. And I haven't invited anyone into prayer. So I decided last night, that I was going to make a devotion to the Rosary.

My devotion is this -- I am going to pray the Rosary everyday until the last missionary makes it to Ireland. And I am inviting anyone and everyone who believes in the power of prayer! Yes, this is a formal invitation. Sorry, I didn't send out a fancy letter with a wax seal, but I would like you to join me. Let us send a flood of prayers to the Heavens for our visas!!

God is so good and will answer our prayers, especially from the nudge of His Mother.
