Happy Halloween

HApPy hAlloWeEn! This Halloween, Megan and I were the Willy Wonka’s- Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp. We attended 5pm mass (not in our costumes, of course) and were blessed with the famous Organ piece J.S. Bach - Toccata and Fugue in D minor. It brought tears to my eyes. Go listen to it. You will hear both God and Satan.

We came home, made some jalapeño poppers and piggies in a blanket. I am mostly gluten free and dairy free, but on Sunday‘s and holidays, I feast despite the consequences…

While the popper and piggies were baking, we smoked a cigar. How do you cut the darn thing? Does it need to be cut? Meh. We didn’t. Feeling classy, we came inside, opened a bottle of champagne and had a candlelit dinner for our fancy feast of American appetizers.

We then watched Braveheart while eating chocolates, sipping on champagne, and playing fetch with the cat. It was a great night to remember. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!
